CLP Group plans to develop its sixth Indian wind farm of 99 MW capacity to be located at Theni in Tamil Nadu.

CLP has partnered with Vestas Wind Technology to develop the Greenfield project and construction is likely to commence in the fourth quarter of 2009. The wind farm will involve the building of 60 wind turbines of 1,650 kW capacity each.

The project is slated to be completed in the first quarter of 2010.
