
Communist Party of India Marxist politburo member Mr MK Pandhe died of cardiac arrest at a hospital in the wee hours on Saturday.
Mr Pandhe died at the Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital at 12.30 AM. He was admitted to the hospital last night after he complained of chest pain.
He was the also the chief of Centre of Indian Trade Unions. He was elected president of CITU in 1999.
He was also the President of All India Coal Workers Federation, Co President International Energy and Miners Organisation, Member Joint Committees in Steel, Coal, BHEL, BEL and Port and Docks, Member, National Shipping Board, Member and National Maritime Board.
