
Infrastructure company C&C Constructions plans to invest about INR 1,000 crore in power transmission and highway projects over the next two to three years.
The Gurgaon based company is executing five national highway projects, two urban infrastructure projects and one power transmission work.
Mr GS Johar Chairman of C&C Constructions Ltd said that "We are in talks with various institutions to raise about INR 400 crore to INR 500 crore through private equity,
Mr Johar said the company has tied up with banks for INR 180 crore and will infuse another INR 100 crore through internal resources and that the company has already invested INR 200 crore in the projects.
He added that the company expects a cash flow of INR 300 crore every year once the projects are completed.
C&C Constructions is also planning to acquire a 70MW to 100MW hydel power plant in Himachal Pradesh for about INR 500 crore.
The company's current market debt is about INR 1,000 crore. It had a turnover of INR 1,200 crore in 2010-11, 70 % of which was contributed by the roads sector.
