For most of the people treated in this time-frame, such state-of-the-art medical amenity is beyond reach. Thus, TATA Steel succeeded in this noble campaign by way of an overwhelming response from the people.
Mr Sengupta vice president (Corporate Services) of TATA Steel said that “Sustainability initiatives followed by TATA Steel has been a regular practice of the Company long before these found recognition nationally and became laws. We believe that in order to be a successful business leader, we also have to effectively touch the lives of those with whom we work on a day to day basis. This is our fifteenth venture of the Lifeline Express. In all this, we have been ably supported by Impact India Foundation, CCL, District Administration of Ramgarh as well as Indian Railways. We continue to look forward to such participation in years to come.”
The Lifeline Express expedition was made successful with the expertise of eminent doctors from Tata Main Hospital, Jamshedpur, invaluable contribution from 2 plastic surgeons from Lucknow and a dedicated team paramedical staff.
