The Netherlands India Chamber of Commerce and Trade, on September 21st 2011, had awarded the India Business Award 2011 to Danieli Corus.

The award was handed over by Mr Bob Hiensch, Ambassador of The Netherlands in India during the NIBM event.

The annual award is presented as a recognition of the outstanding contributions to business relations between India and The Netherlands. Nominees are evaluated based on their business history in India, contribution to the development of the social and economic environment in which the companies operate and strategic relevance of their activities.

This prestigious award reinforces Danieli Corus' leadership in establishing cutting edge technologies in the iron and steel, and the aluminium sectors in India.

The company is currently engaged in building two large capacity blast furnaces (4000 cubic meters), four fume treatment centres for the aluminium industry and three sublances systems for BOF process.
