Business Line reported that the Finance Ministry has extended by a year up to September 12th 2013 the validity of anti dumping duty on ductile iron pipe imports from China.

This follows the request of the Designated Authority in the Commerce Ministry in its sunset review of the anti dumping duty on DI pipe imports from China.

Based on a petition filed by domestic industry Electrosteel Casting, Lanco Ltd and Jindal Saw Ltd, the Authority had initiated a sunset review on DI pipe imports from China.
