Commercial vehicle maker Eicher Motors' net profit for the quarter ended March 31st 2009 has dipped by 4.12% at INR 15.83 crore as compared to INR 16.51 crore in the year-ago period.

Eicher Motors’s total income from operations also declined by 11.48% to INR 595.79 crore in the first quarter as compared to INR 673.09 crore in the corresponding period last fiscal, the company said in a statement.
