Eicher Motors disclosed a phenomenal rise in standalone net profit for the quarter ended March 2011.

During the quarter, the profit of the company rose 56.88% to INR 144.80 million from INR 92.30 million in the same quarter last year.

Its net sales for the quarter for the quarter surged by 50.49% to INR 1,495.90 million. Its total income for the quarter jumped 47.85% to INR 1,515.60 million, when compared with the prior year period.
