ElectroSteel Steels, a subsidiary of Electrosteel Group, has been subscribed 8.23 times on close. A total of 1.86 billion bids were obtained out of which 372.95 million bids were obtained at cut off price.

The company which entered the capital markets with its initial public offering of 225.51 million equity shares had fixed the price band at INR 10-11 a share.

The issue opened on Sep.21, 2010 and closed on Sep.24, 2010.
