Electrosteel Castings reported a substantial rise in standalone net profit for the quarter ended September 2009. During the quarter, the profit of the company rose by 49.56% to INR 629.99 million from INR 421.22 million in the same quarter previous year.
Its net sales for the quarter declined 28.33% to INR 3,782 million while total income for the quarter fell 29.90% to INR 3,826.63 million, when compared with the prior year period.
