The board of directors of Electrosteel Steels Ltd at its meeting held on October 22nd 2011, has noted the increase in capacity of the integrated steel project including the ductile iron pipe plant from 2.2 million tonne per annum to 2.51 million tonne per annum

The company will be signing the "Offtake Agreement" with Electrosteel Castings Ltd, the promoter of the company for sale of ductile iron pipes and pig iron.
