The Hon'ble Gujarat High Court has passed order in reference to PIL application filed by Mr. Vipul R. Patel to set aside the environment clearance dated January 27, 2010 and to stop the operation of the Steel plant situated at Samkhyali and shall start operating only after a fresh environment clearance is accorded in favour of Electrotherm (India) Ltd by the Ministry of Environment and forest union of India.

Electrotherm announced that the Company proposes to file an appeal against the said order In the Supreme Court.
