FEAL GmbH, a six way joint venture, has set up a 100% subsidiary, FEAL Tech Pvt Ltd. The five principal companies of FEAL are LASE GmbH, 3tn GmbH, Ortmann Maschinenbau, RATH AG and Klein Automation.

Mr Debasish Mukherjee co promoter of the FEAL GmbH told reporters that the joint venture was formed by five German companies specializing in various metals, particularly steel, production related aspects. They are suppliers to metal producing clients such as ThyssenKrupp, ArcelorMittal and Salzgitter Stahl.

Mr Debasish Mukherjee said that “Their specializations include material handling, movement tracking, automation and refractory. FEAL GmbH also has technical tie up with a dozen other German metal tech companies.”

In India FEAL Tech, as a one stop provider, will vend a range of technology based products and services required for an integrated steel plant.

The full basket of technologies and equipment go beyond production-orientation to the realm of safety, quality, physical resource utilization and energy efficiency, human resource and cost management.

Proposed new steel capacities and up-gradation of technology has opened up opportunities.
