GMR Infrastructure Ltd announced that it has posted a net profit from ordinary activities after tax of INR 11.19 crore for the Q2 ended September 30th 2009 as compared with INR 24.19 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2008.

Total income has increased from INR 40.72 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2008 to INR 43.36 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2009.

On consolidated basis, the Group has posted a net profit from ordinary activities after tax and minority interest and share of profit from associates of INR 53.61 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2009.

Its total income has increased from INR 856.59 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2008 to INR 1,209.76 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2009.
