GMR Infrastructure Ltd has posted a net profit of INR 75.98 crore for the third quarter ended December 31st 2011 compared with INR 17.11 crore for the quarter ended December 31st 2010.

According to the BSE filing, the total income has increased from INR 144.56 crore for the quarter ended December 31st 2010 to INR 429.04 crore for the quarter ended December 31st 2011.

On a consolidated basis, the group has posted a net loss after tax and minority interest and share of profit from associates of INR 107.95 crore for the quarter ended December 31st 2011 against a net loss of INR 22.25 crore for the quarter ended December 31st 2010.

The total income has increased from INR 1,404.09 crore for the quarter ended December 31st 2010 to INR 2,094.45 crore for the quarter ended December 31st 2011.
