Gammon India earnings down by 51pct

Gammon India disclosed a substantial drop in standalone net profit for the quarter ended December 2010.
During the quarter, the profit of the company declined 51.32% to INR 101.60 million from INR 208.70 million in the same quarter previous year.
The company’s net sales for the quarter for the quarter rose 35.24% to INR 13,720.40 million, while total income for the quarter rose 35.19% to INR 13,721.90 million, when compared with the prior year period.
