Gammon Infrastructure Projects has disclosed a phenomenal rise in standalone net profit for the quarter ended March 2011.

During the quarter, the profit of the company rose 4.47 times to INR 265.12 million from INR 59.35 million in the same quarter previous year.

Net sales for the quarter declined 11.09% to INR 133 million, while total income for the quarter fell 11.21% to INR 163.85 million, when compared with the prior year period.
