Godawari Power and Ispat disclosed a marginal rise in standalone net profit for the quarter ended June 2010. During the quarter, the profit of the company rose 2.48% to INR 132.10 million from INR 128.90 million in the same quarter last year.

The company’s net sales for the quarter declined 7.11% to INR 1,783 million, while total income for the quarter fell 7.18% to INR 1,784.90 million, when compared with the prior year period.
