Graphite India disclosed a steep drop in standalone net profit for the quarter ended June 2010. During the quarter, the profit of the company declined 23.88% to INR 343.90 million from INR 451.80 million in the same quarter last year.

The company’s net sales for the quarter for the quarter rose 10.15% to INR 2,582.40 million, while total income for the quarter rose marginally 4.36% to INR 2,611.20 million, when compared with the prior year period.
