Graphite India Q2 sales down YoY

Graphite India reported a substantial rise in standalone net profit for the quarter ended September 2009. During the quarter, the profit of the company rose 43.55% to INR 684.00 million from INR 476.50 million in the same quarter previous year.
Its net sales for the quarter declined 26.90% to INR 2,793 million while total income for the quarter fell 25.94% to INR 2,859.40 million when compared with the prior year period.
