HEG a manufacturer and exporter of graphite electrodes in India has big plans going into 2012.
Mr Manvinder Singh Ajmani CEO at HEG tells CNBC-TV18 that with capacity addition, the company will become the largest graphite plant in the world.
He said that total capacity of the plant will then stand at 80,000 tonne. The expansion is complete and we are likely to commence commercial operations very soon.
According to Mr Ajmani, HEG is likely to see 20% volume growth going ahead. He said that "On value terms, growth should be much better because the graphite electrode pricing for 2012 has opened up quite firm.”
He added that pricing is expected to be about 15 to 20% higher FY13 than in the current financial year.
