The country's largest two wheeler maker Hero MotoCorp reported its highest ever sales of 520,272 units for January, 2012, a 11.52% increase vis a vis the corresponding month last year. The company said that it sold 466,524 units in January 2011.

Mr Anil Dua senior vice president (marketing and sales) of Hero MotoCorp said that "We have made a good beginning to the new year with our January performance. We are pleased with the trend of five lakh plus unit sales every month for the past six months and we are confident of building further on these numbers.”
