PTI reported that two wheeler manufacturer Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India has reported 44% jump in its total sales to 1,78,462 units in September 2011 as against 123,831 units in the corresponding month last year.

Motorcycle sales grew 21% to 71,018 units last month, as against 58,508 units in September 2010. The company reported 64% jump in scooter sales to 107,444 units last month compared to 65,323 units in the year ago period.
