Hyderabad Industries has announced that it has successfully commissioned a 1.25 MW Suzlon Make Wind Turbine at Tamil Nadu on September 29th 2011.

The power generated from this wind turbine will be captivity consumed by the company at its AAC Blocks manufacturing plant in Chennai.

With this the total installed capacity of the company's wind power plants has increased to 4.85 MW.

Hyderabad Industries had underperformed the market over the past one month till September 30th 2011, falling 2.06% compared with the Sensex's 1.34% decline. It underperformed the market in past one quarter, declining 18.78% as against 12.69% fall in the Sensex.
