The Andhra Pradesh Government has extended the deadline for receipt of pre qualification applications for the INR 12,000-crore Hyderabad Metro Rail Ltd from November 2 to November 27.

According to a statement, the date has been extended due to the elections for the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation. Consequently, the new due date for submission of financial bids is now fixed for February 24th 2010.
