Ranchi Express reported that more than INR 12 crore are outstanding against Coal India Limited’s Central Coalfields Limited as vehicle taxes.

As per report, most of these taxes are as old as 1972-73 financial year.

The Transport Department officials said that the department has issued notice to CMD of CCL for realization of taxes.

The report added that besides CCL, there are many other Public sector undertakings with huge out standings as vehicle taxes.
