Indian Railway revenue earnings up by 15pct in 10 days

The total approximate earnings of Indian Railways on originating basis during the period from November 1st to 10th 2009 were INR 2332.14 crore as compared to INR 2028.92 crore during the same period last year registering an increase of 14.94%.
As per report the total goods earnings have gone up from INR 1306.73 crore during the period from November 1st to 10th 2008 to INR 1569.25 crore during November 1st to 10th 2009 showing an increase of 20.09%.
