Revelations on Times Now exposed the UPA, the NDA and even exposed the United Front. But now, fresh documents with Times Now prove the allotments scam to be much bigger. A letter from Congress National treasurer Mr Motilal Vora to the BJP Chief Minister in Chhattisgarh Mr Raman Singh.

It's the first clear case of co operation between Congress and BJP in the issue of questionable allotments. In a letter dated June 24th 2011, Mr Motilal Vora lobbied with the Chhattisgarh Chief Minister for allotment of an iron ore mine lease to Delhi based Pushp Steels Ltd.

What's even more surprising is that the Congress treasurer even marked his letter to the director of Pushp steels.

While Vora denies any wrongdoing

It beats imagination how a company incorporated on June 2nd 2004, could have on that very day submitted an application in Chhattisgarh for grant of PL. Second, it is inconceivable how such a company could be considered for grant of PL when the criteria laid down indicates that the applicant should have some prior experience in mining.

The Delhi High court criticized the clearance of licence to Pushp Steel in July 2010.

The Chattisgarh CM for his part is putting the onus on the Centre. He said that "If the Centre relies so much on state governments' recommendations, then where did these six parties come from? They have been granted coal blocks without recommendations from the MP and Chhattisgarh governments."

From Coal to Iron the allotments scam gets bigger.

The question is, Was Mr Motilal Vora justified in lobbying with the BJP CM openly for a private company? and is this a scam across party lines?
