Mizo news reported that Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi alleged in Faridabad that Congress chief Sonia Gandhi was connected with the coal scams.

Mr Modi quoted an English newspaper that claimed that the government assigned coal blocks on the recommendations of Sonia’s personal secretary Mr Ahmed Patel, which were later withdrawn.

Mr Modi also attacked Congress Chief over foreign direct investment by saying that the UPA took the FDI decision a day after she came back from the United States.
