Special Judge Mr B Nagamaruti Sarma, passed orders rejecting the bail plea, the first after the CBI filed its charge sheet against Mr Janardhan Reddy, and the fourth filed by the duo since their arrest on September 5, 2011.
The judge took into consideration the appeal filed in the Supreme Court and its request for a copy of the charge sheet.
Hearing in the case relating to IAS officer Ms Y Srilakshmi's bail plea has been listed for February 26 in the Supreme Court Registry. Ms Srilakshmi and former Mines Director Mr VD Rajagopal approached the Supreme Court after the High Court quashed their bail petitions.
