Indowind Energy Ltd has announced that the Company has received the Host Country Approval from ministry of environment and forests, government of India for the 18 MW wind farm at Chitradurga in Karnataka.

This is the last milestone requited for submission to UNFCCC for consideration for the issuance of carbon emission certificates. The project is estimated to generate about 32,000 CERs per year.
