
Input material price corrected at most locations as finished demand sagged with belated monsoon picking up. Since most of the TMT producers reduced prices in September sensing decrepit sentiment a backlash on the input material was in offing.
Construction activity remaining subdued pencil ingot and scrap prices declined at all major locations. Ironically scrap and billet prices have remained unchanged overseas highlighting the inwardness of the movement. Primarily outcome of domestic factors market awaits the autumn eagerly for turn of events.
