Jindal Steel & Power Ltd’s third unit of 135 MW has begun commercial operations from January 1 at Dongamahua, Raigarh (Chhattisgarh).

The company is setting up 10 units of 135 MW each, of which 6 units of 135 MW each are at Angul in Odisha and 4 units of 135 MW each at Dongamahua.

With commissioning of this unit, 4 units of 135 MW each are in operation (3 in Chhattisgarh and 1 in Odisha) and JSPL’s total power generation capacity has increased to 917 MW.
