JSW Steel board approves Vijaynagar expansion to 12 million tonnes

The board of JSW Steel in its meeting on 16 May 2011 has approved to take up Brownfield expansion at the company's Vijayanagar Works at an estimated cost of INR. 2,695 crores so as to augment the crude steel capacity to 12 million tonne per annum.
The projects are expected to be completed by 30 June 2013.
