BL reported that JVL Oil Refinery is planning to set up its 5 edible oil refinery unit at Dahej in Gujarat.

Mr SN Jhunjhunwala MD of JVL Agro Industries said that the proposed unit in Gujarat would be spread over 20 acres.

Mr Jhunjhunwala said that “We plan to build our fifth edible oil refinery facility in Gujarat with an investment of nearly INR 150 crore.”

He said that with a capacity of 1,200 tonnes a day, the Haldia unit entailed an investment of nearly INR 165 crore. In addition, it has sought the State Government’s permission to set up another soyabean oil refinery unit next to this facility.
