Jaiprakash Power Ventures has posted a net loss of INR 975.8 million for the quarter ended December 31st 2012 compared to net profit of INR 595.2 million in the same period last year.

During the quarter, the company saw an increase of 5.04% in total income to INR 4.38 billion from INR 4.17 billion for the quarter ended December 31st 2011.

It registered net sales of INR 3.99 billion, a rise of 8.72% from INR 3.67 billion during the corresponding period in the last financial year.
