KEC International bags 3 orders worth INR 400 crore

KEC International has bagged three new orders worth INR 400 crore, including INR 306 crore contracts from Saudi Arabia. The company, which is a part of RPG Group, is into infrastructure Engineering, Procurement and Construction activities.

The order from Saudi Arabia is for 380 kV double circuit overhead transmission lines and has been awarded by the Saudi Electricity Company.

KEC International in a statement said the order is worth INR 306 crore and was secured through the firm's joint venture with Al-Sharif Group. The contract is expected to be completed in 24 months.

It noted that "In India, the company has secured two new orders for 400 kV double circuit overhead transmission lines: one order is from Power Grid Corporation of India and other from Private customer VISA Power.”

The PGCIL contract, valued at INR 70 crore, is for transmission line in Salem, Tamil Nadu. It is to be completed in 27 months.

The INR 24 crore order from Visa Power is for transmission line and is expected to be executed in 12 months. With these contracts, the company's order book is about INR 8,450 crore.
