
KEC International said that it has bagged orders worth INR 1,044 crore and it order book now stands at INR 8,000 crore.
The company in a statement said that the orders include two transmission line projects in Saudi Arabia and Kuwait worth INR 424 crore and another transmission project in Ghana worth INR 75 crore.
The company has also won INR 233 crore of domestic power systems order and orders worth INR 112 crore for power and telecom cables. It has also won orders worth INR 61 crore for water and railway projects, while the company's US based subsidiary SAE Towers has bagged orders worth INR 90 crore. KEC has also won additional orders worth INR 49 crores from existing projects in Saudi Arabia and Abu Dhabi worth.
Mr Ramesh Chandak CEO of KEC International told ET that "We hope to maintain our overall operating margin at 9% to 10% and these orders have the margin in the same range.”
