
The Indian unit of London based KSK Power Ventur Plc, KSK Energy Ventures, has tied up INR 16,000 crore loans for its 3,600 MW thermal power project in Chattisgarh.
The company informed the Bombay Stock Exchange that “KSK Energy has completed tying up of funds to the tune of USD 3.6 billion (INR 16,000 crore) for its 3,600 MW coal based power plant in Chhattisgarh.”
It said that the project is funded as a combination of debt and equity, land acquisition for the power generation units has been secured and the necessary environment and forest clearance has been obtained.
Shandong Electric Power Construction Corporation of China is engaged in the design, supply and project engineering, construction, commissioning and testing services for the site.
