Kalpataru bags orders worth over INR 1300 crore

Kalpataru Power Transmission Limited said it has bagged three orders worth over INR 1,300 crore including those from Ukraine and Tanzania

KTPL said it has received INR 825 crore turnkey contracts from Ukraine's state entity NEC Ukrenergo to construct 750 kv, 353 kilometers transmission lines.

Funded by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, the project is expected to be complete in 42 months.

The company has also got a contract from Tanzania's Millennium Challenge Account for design, supply and construction of 132 kv transmission line of 41 km to connect Zanzibar Interconnector. The order is worth IN R 42 crore.

Further KTPL has bagged a INR 457 crore turnkey contract from the Maharashtra State Electricity Transmission Co for construction of 400 kv Babhaleshwar to Kudos DCQ 200 kilometers line and 400 kv D/C Padge to Tarapur DC line of four kilometers.

KTPL's ED Mr Manish Mohnot said that with these orders the company has clear visibility for next 2 to 2.5 years.

Mr Mohnot noted "Secondly now the order book looks very well diversified in terms of international, private, SEB’s and PGCIL orders which also reduce concentration risks to great extent as now we have international orders worth more than INR 2,000 crore."
