The Orissa Government is likely to take on the land premium model for the development of bus terminals in the state in PPP mode.

Under this, the land premium is likely to be allotted through bidding process and the lease period for the project will be for 90 years. The bidding for the bus terminals will be through open advertisement route.

The state government has identified 27 bus terminals for development in PPP mode given the poor condition of the existing bus stands.
