
Larsen & Toubro Construction has bagged new orders worth INR 2,700 crore across various businesses in last two months, the company informed the Bombay Stock Exchange on Wednesday. With large infrastructure projects on hold and several customers deferring orders this is a positive development for the company.
The buildings and factories segment secured orders worth INR 1,109 crore for construction of residential complex and a warehouse. The infrastructure division secured orders worth INR 353 crore for construction of viaduct and two station buildings of Kolkata metro.
The power transmission division has bagged orders worth INR 763 crore for construction of transmission lines and substation. In addition it has got order of INR 272 crore for rehabilitation of water treatment plant of Delhi Jal Board.
