Mr Montek Singh Ahluwalia deputy chairman of the planning commission said that “India's factory output growth is expected to remain in high single digits in the current fiscal year.”

The government data showed that the India's industrial output in June rose at a slower than expected 7.1 % from a year earlier it’s slowest pace in 13 months. The reports added that the median forecast in a Reuters poll was for an annual rise of 8.4 %.
