
Madhucan Infra a subsidiary of Madhucon Projects has completed construction of Phase 1 of 300 MW power plant, which is part of 1,920 MW coal based power project near Nellore. It is now heading towards synchronization of Phase-1 of 300 MW.
The company’s arm Simhapuri Energy has received the startup power from PGCL and SRLDC and the boiler light up process has commenced.
With regard to Phase-II of 300 MW, it is planned to be commissioned by August, 2012. Simhapuri Energy has also applied for clearances of Phase-III of 1,320 MW and hope to start the commissioning activities by Q3 or Q4 of 2012.
