ET reported that Mahalaxmi Group, manufacturers of TMT bars and stainless steel products, is set to commission its second rolling mill at Howrah, next month.

Mr Gopal Agarwal MD of Mahalaxmi TMT said in Kolkata that the new rolling mill will manufacture 100,000 tonne of TMT bars annually, adding that the company's turnover is expected to touch the INR 1000 crore mark this year.

Earlier, this month, Mahalaxmi group completed its backward integration project by installing a sponge and billet mill near Kolkata. Mahalaxmi is also on the verge of completion of its new INR 30 crore structural mill at Asansol.
