Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd has announced the Unaudited financial results for the quarter ended September 30th 2009. The Company has posted net profit after tax of INR 7029.40 million for the quarter ended September 30th 2009 where as the same was at INR 2466.60 million for the quarter ended September 30th 2008.

The company’s total Income is INR 46910.80 million for the quarter ended September 30th 2009 where as the same was at INR 34714.70 million for the quarter ended September 30th 2008.

The results for the previous years quarter and half year ending September 30th 2008 have been restated to incorporate the figures of the Company's erstwhile subsidiary Punjab Tractors Ltd which merged with the Company effective August 1st 2008 on February 16th 2008. Since the previous years quarter and half year ended September 30th 2008 include only tie results for August and September 2008, they are not comparable with current years quarter end half yearly results.
