Project cargo specialist, Seatech Shipping and Project Pvt Ltd, recently adroitly handled Krishnapatnam Port’s new installations, the massive state of the art German made Liebherr cranes.
The two cranes, weighing 275 tonnes each and measuring 67 feet x 20 feet x 117 feet were loaded in Rostock (Germany) on board the vessel Atlant Svenja and discharged by Seatech Shipping here.
As ship agents, Seatech displayed perfect timing and coordination. Its team of operational experts swung into action, berthing Atlant Svenja on arrival, completing discharge operations (two heavy loads of 275 tonnes each and accessories) swiftly, and facilitating its turnaround within a record 48 hours.
Adding to the challenges faced by Seatech Shipping was the heavy congestion at the Port.
Seatech has consistently bettered its own service levels to set new performance benchmarks. Not surprisingly, it has proved its mettle by discharging 10 such cranes for the Krishnapatnam Port authorities.
In the past, Seatech has been in the limelight for fixing MV Atlant Frauke on her maiden voyage at Krishnapatnam Port, making it the first vessel to be registered at the port in 2007.
