
McNally Bharat Engineering Company said that it has bagged a INR 122 crore contract from Steel Authority of India’s Bhilai Steel Plant.
McNally Bharat Engineering Company said in a filing to the BSE said that “The company have received an order from Bhilai Steel Plant for external water system for mills and fire water pumphouse... at a price of INR 121.75 crore.”
It said that the contract is a part of steel mill’s modernisation and expansion plan.
Bhilai Steel Plant is India’s sole producer of rails and heavy steel plates and major producer of structural.
BSP’s modernisation is underway as part of SAIL’s about INR 70,000 crore expansion plan to take capacity to about 23 million tonne by next year from the existing about 14 million tonne.
