MoEF clearance for Adani Power Kachchh project

The Expert Appraisal Committee, under the Union MoEF has accorded environmental clearance to the 3x660 MW coal based thermal power plant proposed by Adani Power.
The project is to come up in the Kachchh district of Gujarat. Pertinently, environmental clearance for Phase I (2x330 MW) and Phase II (2x330 MW + 2x660 MW) had already been accorded on earlier dates.
