Reminiscent with the synchronized movement with the stock market the pencil ingot and long product prices corrected last week although there was a blip in sponge iron prices at weekend after SC banned miming in two more regions of Karnataka.
On the other and flat product prices remain subdued on weakness on demand side.
The Indian Long Product Price Index ILPPI has gone down by 96 point last week whereas Indian Flat Products Index IFPPI has also gone down by 28 points. The overall price index INDSPI declined by 64 points.
